The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is the nation’s largest youth employment program, connecting NYC youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experience each summer.
Through SYEP, participants can explore different interests and career pathways, develop productive workplace habits, and engage in learning experiences that strengthen their social, civic, and leadership skills.

Open Basketball & Gym
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Students can participate in open gym basketball, promoting physical fitness and providing an opportunity for social interaction.
Saturday | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- A vibrant, supervised space where students can engage in recreational activities, socialize, and take part in leadership-building events.

At Kurt Hahn, we utilize the JumpRope grading platform. JumpRope is accessible to all students & their parents to view:
-Attendance
-Grades
-Missing work in real time
Grades are updated by teachers weekly, and JumpRope allows you to reach out directly to any teachers.
Parent access to JumpRope is the same username and password as your child's account.
